ABRIO Interview with Sunshine Soundsystem

Born and raised in Sandringham Central Auckland, established hip hop artist ABRIO came into Base FM for a chat with KPS and Downtown Brown from Sunshine Soundsystem about his latest single ‘Thanks Mum’ featuring Lomez Brown (produced by Soulchef), what he’s been up to and what’s next for the local MC. “I wrote this song about fifteen years ago and thought Soulchef and i should release it in todays world. I know there’s a lot of young boys growing up without a dad in the picture and I know how they feel. Don’t get me wrong though – The older me now knows that there’s always two sides of a story.”
