The Basement

Nick and Nabeel have co-hosted The Basement since the beginnings of BASE FM in 2004 when the legendary Manuel Bundy recruited them for a Wednesday afternoon slot. The show moved to Saturday afternoons for a few years and then found its groove on Monday nights. The Basement reflects Nabeel’s and Nick’s eclectic tastes, deep collections and ongoing music research, with each show roaming far and wide across genres and styles past and present; so much so, they’ve found it difficult to record a promo for the show all these years since it might commit them to particular sounds.
