FREE COMMUNITY EVENT from King Kapisi “Hoops for Life”

King Kapisi is putting on Hoops & Life, a Basketball show 4 the “Love of the game” of basketball. A free one-day community event, bringing together basketball, gaming, sneakers, barber, music, dance, art and food.
You can register to play in any of the competitions, check out the marketplace, or simply be a spectator, this is a family day out! Bring your sneakers. From the first ever Youthtown 4 on 4 Ultimate Basketball League Competition, Sneaker Kreatures, Swap Meet to Hāpai te Hau Ora Genisis Lounge elements Zone.
The main event is the 4 on 4 Ultimate League running throughout the day. You need to register your team and pay a registration fee of *$200. This fee covers six basketball uniforms, your games, your referees and a day of fun!
There are eight free-to-enter competitions on the day from the Youthtown Dunk Comp, to JD Sports Waacking and RedRat Krump battles, Xbox NBA 2K and more. Registration is required for all these free to enter competitions.
No agendas. No politics. Just Basketball! The show is hosted by King Kapisi, Benny Anthony Jr & JC!
