This week’s Local eye’s id the first offerings off the new 9-5ers EP which will be dropping in August. The 9-5ers team up with the 685 cousins Kenzie From Welly & Poetik for “Ain’t free”
“Ain’t free” tells the next phase of the Polynesian migrant’s story with this generation trying to find their way in the world, seeking the balance between capitalism and culture, artistry vs the music business. Special thanks to long-time hombre Tama Gotchi on the visuals and Adam Fuhr lacing the sax and keys. Also special thanks to all our friends that came through to support the Kaupapa. The vid is that balance between performing to the camera and then the hustle once the camera is turned off. Dedicated to all the Artist in the pursuit of creation and fulfilment.
