The Strictly 45 show, Sundays 2-4pm, showcases all elements of reggae in a sound system style from mid 70's roots, through early digital productions, late nineties roots and dancehall, brand new riddim selections and dubplate specials in the mix as well. Hosted By NZ's premiere reggae sound Jafa Mafia. Expect proper reggae from the foundation to the latest bashment sounds from the hard working team of selectors Tobi and Raazhard.

Tobi Jafa is NZ born and London raised, originates from the London free party/rave and nightclub scene from the early through to late 90's and is a former resident of The End nightclub in London. Having played most genres of bassline music over the years including reggae, a link-up with Capt. Midnite and a shared passion for dancehall/reggae led to the foundation of the Jafa Mafia in 2004.

Soundboy/VJ Raazhard hails from Hokianga and always had a love for reggae/dancehall. After peforming for 2 years with Auckland's Beat Company he joined up the Mafia on Tobi's long running 95Bfm show ' Thunder & Joy' with MC Flowsion (also a Hokianga lad) - the teams MC, who sings and chats pon de mic.

Founding member Captain Midnite is now back in Europe, holding the vibes and representing the sound internationally.

Jafa Mafia play out with a mix of live and prerecorded dubplate specials from Jamaican artists such as Lady Saw, Half Pint, Johnny Osbourne, Ward 21 and many local and up and coming artists, with the new and older classics of reggae music.
