After 32 years on this planet, literally hundreds of skate roadtrips up and down the country, a brief stint in America, a few drunken winters in Queenstown and a staple part of the Auckland skate community, it's safe to say Zeb (aka Cluedo) has been floating round the traps for a bit.

Intially he "didn't get" dance music but a Roni Size gig at the St James a few years back really opened his eyes and ears to dnb music which his flatmate Kerry had been pushing on him for quite some time.

"I'm terrible at playing instruments so to learn how to mix records really changed my life - I was always the guy at parties trying to take control of the sounds so it was a natural progression really. I'm also teaching myself how to write my own music which is challenging but loads of fun"- Zeb.

"I've had some hard weekends (raving... ha ha) where getting to the studio that late on a Sunday night was really tough so I started inviting random guests off the dnb forums up to take the pressure off myself and give some other up and comers a chance to play on air.  We hope you enjoy the show.

Danny 2 Chains, 2 chains, DTC, King Rollo call him what you will, can found and heard most Friday's dropping fresh riddims, soul, hip hop and the occasional obscure tune on BASE FM with Close Encounters founder Zeb Beall. Having had a residency in the early 2000's at Queenstown's premier snowboarder hangout 'TARDIS' D2C has decided once again to get back on the 1's and 2's.

After Danny sold his records and decks and traveled the world, basing himself in South London's notorious Peckham high street he could not help but be influenced by the multitude of small record stores playing the latest riddims from Jamaica right outside his front door. Although Danny is heavily influenced by Dancehall, Reggae and Rocksteady he does venture into the world of soul and hip hop and with Danny being somewhat of a music geek there is always a little bit of knowledge to be dropped.

It's never a dull moment on a Friday night on BASE FM with Zeb and Danny crossing genres from 8 til 10pm, with the two trying to outdo each other each week with the newest and freshest tunes that can be found. Recently supporting the ARC Danny is once again out and moving dance floors.
