The Base FM CD of the Week is CERN “Terminus"

Over 2 years in the making, Base FM resident Ollie Cern (In Session - Thurs 10pm) has delivered an album which showcases his depth of style and production. A very personal album, the themes and track titles reflect the journey that Cern has embarked since long-time collaborator Jonny passed away in 2008. The opening tune "Hopetoun Bridge", with it's atmospherics and deep musical bassline, will resonate with Auckland locals, both a landmark and a barrier for which many of us cross every day.

The quality of this project is apparent throughout the entire album. From the production through to the striking sleeve design - one identifies this as a very special project from a gifted individual. With a growing profile in the international drum & bass scene, CERN's "Terminus" follows on from numerous releases & collaborations over the last few years.
