Base favourites & family of friends... LADI6 "The Liberation Of..." is the 2nd album from NZs leading lady of soulful rhymes. Recorded while Ladi6 & Parks were based in Berlin earlier this year, the album is a definite musical step forward.

Production duties and shared between Parks and German producer Sepalot, yet another former attendee of the infamous Red Bull Music Academy. Julien Dyne & Chip Matthews (both Opensouls), Myele Manzanza (Electric Wire Hustle) & Toby Laing (Fat Freddys Drop) add their own musical elements, while newcomer Esther Adam blends in nicely with her backing vocals & harmonies... I say nice one folks.

Not only is the music contained within this disc superb, but the design also deserves special mention: bigs ups to Component & iThink - better known to Baseheads as Djs Sp23 & Junior.
